Deer Diary, I Just Shot My Biggest Buck Ever!
Still jotting down hunting journal notes (that you probably can't even read later) in the torn pages of that old water-logged notepad? Dude, you're totally old school. Time to move into the 21st century and embrace technology!
Deer Diary, a new hunting app available for iPhones and Androids, lets you capture and record the essence of your hunts: weather, photos, notes, etc. Heck, it even allows you to "check in" at your favorite treestand or other hunting spot. The cool thing is, you can take this app into the field and access and record information anywhere, any time.
Back at the lodge (ah, living room), you can relive your successes and failures, and work on tomorrow's game plan. You can even share key information from your field observations with your hunting buddies (if you really want to).
Embrace technology—there's a reason they call them smartphones.
